Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee site operations for our construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have experience of huge and mega projects in hilly terrain or in remote areas (Northern Areas)
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets. Oversee the execution of these plans to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
- Supervise daily site operations, including managing subcontractors, suppliers, and construction staff. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Monitor and enforce quality standards on-site. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the required specifications and industry standards.
- Track project expenses and manage budgets effectively. Address any cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns, and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed on-site. Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily reports. Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential issues and risks proactively. Develop and implement solutions to overcome obstacles and keep the project on track.
Qualifications:
- Master Degree (M.Sc)/Bachelor’s degree(B.Sc) in Civil Engineering /Construction Management or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus point.
- Must be registered as Professional Engineer in Pakistan Engineering Council.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in Highways, Bridges, Motorways and construction civil projects execution of Highways construction project management, with a proven track record of managing site operations successfully.
